Seasons

Koh Phangan experiences a low season, a peak season and two high seasons. The 2023-2024 seasons are approximately as follows:

High Season 2023:

10^th January - 18^th May
11^th July - 26^th September

Peak season 2023 - 24:

11^th December 3 - 09^th January 2024

Low Season 2023:

19^th May - 10^th July
27^th September - 10^th December

* please note that Hin Kong beach is an excellent location to base yourself on the island to be able to travel to and explore all the islands activities and beaches. Hin kong is the best area due to it having the very best restaurants on the island ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE but please note that he tidal system on this beach means that the water is very shallow and quite far out from April until October and during those months not a good swimming beach.
